How much is your laundry service? Pick up and Delivery Pricing: $3.00 per lb for next-day service as needed. $45 minimum order fee. $2.50 per lb for bi-weekly or weekly recurring next-day service. $45 minimum order fee. Customer Drop off and Pick up Pricing: Next Day: $2.00 per lb wash, dry and fold service, $30 minimum order fee. $1.75 per lb for "no fold", wash and dry service, $30 minimum order fee. Same Day: $3.00 per lb for wash, dry and fold service, $30 minimum order fee. $2.75 per lb for "no fold", wash and dry service, $30 minimum order fee.
Is there a minimum charge? Yes, there is a $30.00 minimum charge for next day pick-up & delivery service. Same day service minimum is $45. Customer pick-up and drop off at Easy Clean Laundry has a $30 minimum order fee.
Are there additional costs for large items? Yes, in some cases there are larger items that are charged on a per item basis. Primarily, these items include: •Comforter: Twin $35 •Comforter: Full/Queen/King $45 •Quilt Bedding: Twin $25 •Quit Bedding: Queen/King $35 •Mattress Pad, Duvet Cover, Blankets: $23 •Bath mat: $7.50 •Machine Washable Rugs: Prices vary •Sheets or Tablecloths (wash & tumble dry): $2.50 per lb The reason we charge separately for these items is because they require washing and drying to be separated from the rest of your order. Comforters in particular take several hours to dry on air-only setting, which is why it’s an industry standard to charge them at a higher rate.
What can I expect for my first laundry service? On the day/evening of your scheduled pick-up, an Easy Clean driver will arrive sometime in the allotted window of time. You can have your items ready in a bag of your choice (trash bags, reusable, etc.). Please separate any stained items or items that need special care. We are not able to read individual label washing instructions. Make sure to double check your pockets! Easy Clean is NOT responsible for items lost in the wash or damaged by things left in pockets (chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, etc). From there, your laundry will be out of your hands! Next day, your driver will bring everything back to you during your confirmed delivery time. A text will be sent when your clothes are en route and again, once your delivery has been made.
What should I put my dirty laundry in? Trash bags work best or any kind or cinchable bag! Don't worry about labeling or tagging your bags our driver will do that for you! We also have two reusable bags for sale. Our green bag holds approximately 25-30 lbs and costs $14. Our blue bag holds approximately 17-20 lbs and costs $8. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept items not bagged, laundry baskets or laundry hampers.
What is the cleaning process for my order? We follow best practices for cleaning all orders. This includes following your specifications, washing in cold water and using medium heat for drying. We provide the option to choose scented or hypoallergenic detergent. If you have special requests or preferences around the dry temperature, detergent, or fabric softener, you can adjust your account preferences or email contact@easycleanlaundry.com.
When will my order be returned? Your clothes will be returned by 6pm the next day. (Unless your payment method was declined or you selected a different delivery date)
Can you do stain removal? Of course! We do light stain removal. Please place all stained clothing in a separate bag and let us know by including a note in the bag or on your laundry profile and we’ll do our best to get it out. It is very useful to know the exact source of each stain, since the best treatment will vary by the type of stain and the fabric type. While we’re usually successful at removing stains, we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to get it out. If you can pretreat the stains before putting the garment in the bag, it will increase the odds of success. For your convenience, we do have a great stain remover that you can purchase for use at home. If you aren’t able to set aside the clothing with stains, we are able to check every item of clothing and pre-treat all stains for an additional .45 per lb. We so sell an amazing home stain remover if you don't have one!
Do you offer Dry Cleaning services? We do NOT offer dry cleaning.
How much are the reusable Easy Clean bags? At checkout, you will have the option to purchase a $14 Easy Clean Laundry green 25 lb laundry bag for convenient transporting of your clothing. You do NOT need a Easy Clean Laundry bag. We accept any bag, including trash bags with your dirty laundry. We also have a blue Easy Clean Laundry bag (holds approximately 15 lbs) that is $8 Lastly, we offer a comforter storage bag for $6.50. *A Easy Clean Laundry bag holds 25 lbs of laundry, which is approximately two 13 gallon trash bags.
What locations are on your route? Bloomington and Ellettsville by zip code.
Do you wash rugs? Our small business specializes in laundering rugs that are labeled as machine washable. We kindly request that all rugs brought in for cleaning must have tags indicating they are machine washable. Please note that we do not launder rugs labeled as 'dry clean only' or have a stiff, woven bottom. Rugs are not charged by the weight. They are a per piece charge. •Standard size bath mats (21"x34") are $7.50 •Rugs larger than standard bath mats are $20 •Ruggable Rug 5x7 are $43 •Ruggable Rug 6x9 are $50 •Ruggable Rug 8x10 are $70 Air dry is available for $1 per item Stain treatment is $5
Will my order be charged on the initial weight or the weight after the order is completed? When customers bring in their laundry, it's weighed before laundering to determine the initial weight. After the laundering process is complete, the items are weighed again to determine the final weight. Your order will be charged based on the final weight after laundering is complete. Many times, laundry can be wet when we receive it, which is why we do not charge based on the incoming weight.
Do you iron? We do not offer ironing.
Are there items Easy Clean Laundry doesn't clean? At this time, there are a handful of items that we cannot accept for cleaning due to the nature of the item or the risk they may pose to our team. We cannot accept the following items for cleaning: Certain non-clothing items (These specific non-clothing items often require a specialized cleaning process that we are not equipped to provide as clothing care experts): •Pillows •Curtains •Commercial linens •Sofa covers •Rugs (bath rugs are the exception) Contaminated items (We cannot accept items that may pose a risk to the safety of our team and/or the items of other customers cleaned in the same facility. These include items that have been contaminated with): •Bodily fluids from a human or pet •Excessive pet hair •Tar •Moisture if the item is still wet or damp •Mildew •Bedbugs •Poison ivy or poison oak oils •Hazardous chemical residue Specialty care clothing items(These clothing items require specialty care that falls outside of our area of expertise): •Wedding dresses •Vintage clothes (in some cases) •Costumes •Hats/Headwear •Shoes •Fur & Animal products (feathers, fur coats) •Purses/handbags
How can I prepare for my laundry pick-up?

Can I send my own hangers? Absolutely! We will ensure your hanging items are returned back to you on your own hangers! If personal hangers are not sent in, Easy Clean Laundry will provide wire hangers at .50 cents each.
Do I need to sort my own items, such as darks from lights and whites? No, this is supposed to be easy for you, remember? Leave the sorting to us!
Does Easy Clean check pockets? With the amount of laundry we wash, our launderers are unable to check every pocket. Easy Clean Laundry is not responsible for items that are lost in the wash or damaged due to items left in pockets (crayons, pens, markers, chapstick, lipstick, etc.)
Does Easy Clean read label instructions? We are not able to read individual label washing instructions. If you have items needing special care, please bag them separately and include instructions for our launderer.
How do I give you special instructions? The easiest way to set permanent special instructions on your account is to e-mail our team at contact@easycleanlaundry.com. For any one-time special instructions please include a note with your order and text (812-325-0369) or email them to Easy Clean Laundry.
Can I send our undergarments? Of course, it’s laundry! Let us take ALLLLL your laundry off your hands! Clients that prefer to keep their undergarments private may send them inside a mesh laundry bag along with a note requesting we wash, dry & return the undergarments in your mesh bag. Mesh bags are available for purchase at our facility.
Am I supposed to weigh my items before Easy Clean picks up? No, we will do that for you. If you want an estimate, you can use your scale by weighing yourself and then weighing yourself while holding the laundry. The weight of your clothing is done after it's been washed and dried using our trade certified scale.
What happens when I request air-dry for an item? Hang-dry/Air-dry: Air-dry items are $1 each. After laundering with the rest of your Wash & Fold, Air Dry items will be hung up to dry in a climate-controlled environment and returned to you on a hanger or folded. Our Air-Dry service is recommended for delicates and synthetics. Air Dry items are NOT pressed after drying, just folded, so they may be returned with wrinkles.

Pickup & Delivery
What locations are on your route? At this time, we are servicing Bloomington and Ellettsville area's.
Where should my order be picked up or delivered? Your pick up/drop off location should be a safe and secure location where you feel comfortable leaving your personal items. While this is different for everyone, customers often leave their orders at their front door, on their porch, or inside a secure, gated area. Please note that our drivers are not able to go up or down stairs or enter any privately owned spaces or residences, so they are not able to enter your home, apartment, car, garage, etc.
Where will you put my hanging items if I'm not home? If you have a wreath hanger on your front door, we will hang your clothes there. Otherwise we will carefully drape your hanging items over your bagged folded clothes. Both your hanging items and the folded items will be protected in plastic garment bags. If you’d like us to provide a door hanger, please let us know and we will deliver one upon picking up your laundry.
When will my order be returned? Your order will be returned by 6pm the next day. (Unless your payment method was declined or you selected a different delivery date)
How quickly should I unbag my items? We recommend unbagging your items ASAP. This is especially important for duvets and down comforters. Due to humid temps and the goose feathers, it can be difficult to completely dry large bedding. There is always the possibility they may need more time to air dry at home.
I forgot to set out my laundry for my scheduled pick-up, now what? Hey, we get it! These things happen. We send email and text reminders to help make sure you don’t forget, but life can sometimes get in the way. To compensate your driver’s time, there will be a $10 missed pick-up fee. We can reschedule the pick-up for the following week - on your normal route day. If you'd like your items washed that week, we can return later that day or the following day for an additional $10 rush fee.

What is an "average" weekly laundry order? For a family of 4-5, an average is approximately 40-45 lbs per week... if you’d like an estimate before we pick-up your laundry, simply place your hamper on your home scale. We will weigh your order with our Trade Certified Scale once we receive your order and you will be emailed a detailed receipt upon order completion.
